How do I choose a ceiling light for a low ceiling?
Compare the fixture’s actual height and dimensions with the available clearance. A close-to-ceiling design can be useful, but check the selected size and mounting requirements. Browse Pendant Lights when an adjustable hanging design suits the space.
Are LED ceiling lights dimmable or compatible with smart controls?
Compatibility is model-specific. Check the selected driver, supplied controls, colour-temperature options and any stated dimming support. A lamp described as LED is not automatically compatible with your existing dimmer or smart-home system.
What materials are used in ceiling lights?
Check the selected product listing. The Modern Square Acrylic LED Ceiling Light lists iron and acrylic construction. Materials, finish, size and light options can vary between models and variants.
Does “waterproof” mean a ceiling light is suitable outdoors or in a bathroom?
No rating should be inferred from the title alone. Ask for the manufacturer’s IP rating, approved use and installation instructions for the exact fitting. A qualified electrician should confirm suitability for the location and install hardwired lighting.
How long does lighting delivery take, and is installation included?
Use the estimated lead time for the selected product and confirm service to your address before ordering. Ready to Ship does not promise next-day delivery. Standard delivery is to an accessible front door; electrical installation is included only if expressly agreed. See our Shipping Policy.
Can I return an online order if I change my mind?
For eligible online purchases, tell us you wish to cancel within 14 calendar days of receiving the goods, then return them within a further 14 days. Reasonable inspection is allowed; unnecessary handling may reduce the refund. Direct change-of-mind return costs are normally yours. Exceptions can apply to genuinely bespoke or personalised goods, but ordering a standard option from a supplier does not automatically make it bespoke. What should I do if my light arrives damaged or develops a fault?
Contact returns@sessainteriors.ie with your order details and photographs where helpful. Report delivery damage within 48 hours where possible; this does not remove statutory rights. Check the product’s guarantee and our Warranty Policy. The published chandelier, ceiling-light and pendant guarantee is one year for manufacturing defects; any more favourable binding guarantee is honoured.
